CONTEST RULES

2025 Entry period January 8 – March 4

#NORDICSHOT IS FREE TO ENTER.

  • You can enter as many times as you want, in as many categories as you want.
  • Note: Students are free to enter any category.

YOU MUST BE LICENSED.

  • Student; You must have been in hairdressing school at the time you created your entry.

WORK MUST BE CREATED BETWEEN FEBRUARY 1, 2024 – MARCH 4, 2025

  • If you previously posted your shot on Instagram before the entry period, your shot must be reposted between the dates listed above. Shots posted outside of this range will not be considered.
  • Work created before February 1, 2024 will not be eligible.

HASHTAGS MUST BE IN THE CAPTION – NOT THE COMMENTS.

  • For your entries to be eligible, place the appropriate category hashtags in the caption of your entry, not the comments section.
  • ONLY use the hashtags that are appropriate for your shot. Do NOT use all hashtags on every post.

DONT PLACE HASHTAGS ON OLD POSTS.

  • Only entries posted during the official #NORDICSHOT entry period will be considered. Do not add #NORDICSHOT hashtags to old posts.

ONLY ONE ARTIST WILL BE CREDITED PER ENTRY.

IMPORTANT!!!

ONLY RESIDENTS FROM SCANDINAVIA CAN ENTER THE #NORDICSHOT.

  • You must have been a resident in one of the following countries:
    Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Finland, and The Faroe Islands at the time you created your entry and during the period of the competition. If not, you will be disqualified.

MODELS.

  • All models showcased within the collections across all categories must be individuals of human origin. The utilization of virtual or computer-generated models, as well as the exhibition of hairstyles solely on mannequins, is strictly prohibited. Should the organizing committee identify potential disparities concerning the genuineness of models featured within a collection, the committee retains the authority to request verification through the submission of valid government-issued identification, such as an ID card or Passport. If the resulting verification confirms that the models are, in fact, not authentic individuals, the respective collection may become susceptible to disqualification.
